Veil of Dark - The Shooting Coaster

Joypolis Tokyo Tokyo, Japan

We always like to surprise you! ‘Veil of Dark – The Shooting Coaster’ is the name of Gerstlauer Amusement Rides’ newest Spinning Coaster, that outshines everything and turns everything topsy-turvy!

The rollercoaster novelty at the Japanese indoor amusement park Joypolis in Tokyo doesn’t need to hide in a veil of dark! During the 300 meter long ride brave riders experience an innovative development of our Spinning Coaster concept. The first highlight of the coaster is the brand new car design. For the first time on a Gerstlauer Spinning Coaster four riders take seat in a car with two rows behind one another. Once the comfortable over the shoulder restraints are put down, the thrilling journey starts with a curvy dark ride part through an abandoned lab. After a lift hill approximately 5 meters tall things in the lab get out of control!

Thanks to a friction wheel launch the car accelerates up to 24 mph and speeds into the atrium of the indoor amusement park. But the fun doesn’t stop here. The track bends to the right and proceeds in a heartline roll! This twisted world first is indescribable fun! Subsequently a Wild Mouse turn, a helix and sudden changes of direction top of the ride.

Are you brave enough? ‘Veil of Dark – The Shooting Coaster’ by Gerstlauer Amusement Rides puts you to the test. 2012 – Joypolis Tokyo!
