Family Coaster

Schlange von Midgard

HANSA-PARK Sierksdorf, Germany

After the great success of the Euro-Fighter ‘Curse of Novgorod’, Gerstlauer Amusement Rides is happy to announce its second rollercoaster for HANSA-PARK. When it opens in the spring of 2011 this ride will get the whole family excited by telling the story of two Viking kids. Those two go on a tumultuous ride through Nordic houses and to a mysterious lake – the home of the ‘Midgard Serpent’.

For the first time this family rollercoaster features a brand new train concept from Gerstlauer Amusement Rides. The twelve-seat train was designed to allow small adventurers with a height of one meter to also go on the big adventure. Offering state-of-the art safety technology, like single safety restraints with safety surveillance, a chain lift that isn’t dependent on the weather and fail-safe magnetic brakes, this family coaster keeps abreast easily with Gerstlauer Amusement Rides’ bigger coasters.

What are you waiting for? Let the ‘Midgard Serpent’ take you into the fascinating mythology  of the Vikings. All aboard!
